So I’ve already written quite a few posts about skincare, covering basics like hydration and going into depth about certain ingredients. This being said, my skin has reached a turning point and is now getting worse with my old routine. 🤔 This is because Toronto has very inconsistent environmental conditions so I’m adjusting from winter to spring (ish… it’s still 5 degrees C here ❄️). With my recent saving up, I’ve decided to completely replace my old products with some new ones that I’ve been eyeing recently. I’ll also explain why I chose them.
I don’t always have time to sit down with a brush/sponge and blend in foundation in the morning. That, and sun protection, are why I love using BB cushions. They’re cute, easy to use and portable since the cushion puff is included. Just like all products though, there are hits and misses. My collection isn’t big but there are some good/bad products here I’d like to review. Every cushion here is SPF 50+/PA+++ unless otherwise stated.
Sephora usually creates “Sephora Favourites” boxes, including sample (sometimes full) sizes of products in a certain theme, and sells it for a deal much less than the combined value of all the products. This particular one, “Soko to Tokyo” has been out of stock for AGES but I managed to get my hands on it when it re-stocked last week (it sold out again in a day). This is what’s inside!
I bought 110 sheet masks, and a whole bunch of other things. If you’ve ever wondered how Asian cult beauty favourites perform, you’ve come to the right place. This is my skincare haul from my Asia trip this year, with swatches and mini reviews.
