My Ipsy Glam Bag: November 2017

This was the best bag yet! I’m pretty happy with the products I received and can definitely see myself using all of them.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush – Idol

This is a deluxe sample size of the famous Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade Idol (1 of 3 shades in this month’s bag). It’s a beautiful shimmery blush in a champagne shade. There are faint specks of gold in it but nothing chunky or glittery – just enough to give the cheeks a healthy glow. I have one of these full size blushes in a pink shade and I really like the formula. These blushes don’t accentuate texture and are very buildable, so there’s no danger of using a heavy hand. This will be great for travel and can even double up as a highlight occasionally.

MAC Prep + Prime – Natural Radiance

This is a radiant primer with very tiny, almost unnoticeable golden shimmers in it. It’s kind of an all-in-one primer that claims to hydrate, even-out skin tone, prep for makeup, etc. and has ingredients like Vitamins C and E. There’s no scent and it glides over the skin well!

Trestique Mini Brow Pencil – Espresso

Similar to the Shu Uemura Brow Sword and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer, the tip of this brow pencil is slanted and thicker so it’s easier to draw different shapes. The packaging is cute and you twist the bottom to push the product out. I’m not a big fan of this so far though – I had to press pretty hard to get the swatches you see in that second picture. I’d really rather not have to press hard to use any brow product but then again, it’s pretty cold right now in Canada so maybe I just needed to warm it up? We’ll see.

Jonteblu Lip Liner Pencil – Natural Beige

I love pink/nude lip products so this product is a great addition to my ever-growing collection. It glides on smoothly and is pretty pigmented. Not a fan of how I have to sharpen this though.

Ouai Hair Oil

This is probably the superstar of the whole bag for me – a deluxe sample size of the famous Ouai hair oil. This smells AMAZING – just like fresh lavender. It’s quite runny for an oil and sinks into the hair very easily without feeling greasy. This has a ton of amazing ingredients and claims to make your hair feel silky and soft, and prep it for styling. Super excited to use this, but also kind of scared because if I end up loving it then I’ll forever be a slave to this $30+/bottle hair oil 😦
